- This Stainless Steel Welding Wire, also known as Filler Metal ER316L, has a diameter of .045 inches and comes on a 25 lb spool. Meeting ISO G19123L standards, it is designed for minimal carbon content, specifically no greater than .02%, to effectively protect against corrosion. Ideal for welds on 309 Series stainless steel, it is also suitable for joining stainless 316L, CrNiMo, and CrNi alloys. In addition, this wire is suitable for use in Automatic TIG welding processes.
